CPPC Turns Waste into Impact Through Recycling

At CPPC Group, sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a movement. Every action we take today shapes a cleaner, greener tomorrow. As part of our ongoing commitment to waste reduction and circular economy practices, CPPC actively engages in initiatives that transform waste into valuable resources. One of the most impactful efforts we support is WHA Group’s WeCYCLE program, a widely recognized sustainability initiative that promotes recycling, upcycling, and responsible waste management.

Leading by Action: CPPC’s Latest Recycling Effort

On February 25, 2025, CPPC employees at the CPPC Industrial Complex in Rayong took part in our latest “Sort Before You Dispose—Make It Real” campaign, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability in industrial operations. Employees successfully collected 56 kilograms of recyclable materials, including plastic bottles, aluminum cans, food containers, and bottle caps. More than just numbers, this effort resulted in a 57.74 kg CO₂ reduction, proving that small, consistent actions can make a big environmental impact.

All collected materials were delivered to WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited, ensuring they were repurposed responsibly through recycling and upcycling. Given our proximity to WHA Rayong Industrial Land, CPPC is proud to play an active role in fostering sustainability within the industrial community.

Beyond Recycling: How Industry Collaboration Drives Change

WHA’s WeCYCLE initiative, now in its third year, has made an enormous impact on waste management in Thailand’s industrial sector. Since its launch in 2022, WeCYCLE has successfully:

  • Collected 58 tons of plastic bottles, turning them into school bags, iPad cases, and other useful products.
  • Recycled 67 tons of used paper, repurposing them into learning materials for schools.
  • Converted 1.1 tons of used cooking oil into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), reducing emissions in the aviation industry.

Together, these efforts have cut 259 tons of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting 28,700 trees—a clear testament to the power of collective action.

To make waste donation more accessible, WHA has set up YOU Turn collection points across its industrial estates, encouraging businesses and employees to contribute recyclables. Electric vehicles are also used to transport waste, further reducing emissions and promoting a circular economy.

CPPC’s Vision: From Waste to Opportunity

Sustainability isn’t just about reducing waste—it’s about rethinking how we use resources. At CPPC, we integrate waste separation and recycling into daily operations, making it a natural part of how we do business. Through initiatives like our “Sort Before You Dispose” campaign and strategic industry collaborations, we are:
✅ Minimizing waste at the source and ensuring efficient resource use.
✅ Engaging employees in sustainability efforts to make an everyday impact.
✅ Working with industrial partners to advance responsible waste management.

By actively participating in industry-wide programs like WeCYCLE, CPPC is leading the way in corporate sustainability—turning waste into value, impact, and opportunity.

Rethink Waste, Take Action and Create a Lasting Impact Together

We invite all CPPC employees and business partners to join us in this movement. Whether it’s sorting recyclables, reducing waste, or supporting upcycling initiatives, every action counts.
